"Not the easiest to use in poor snow conditions, ice up too easily, if skis constantly on / off to cross fences, thin patches, fallen trees, etc, the bindings get increasingly hard to get accept and clamp the pin. I'm swopping to the manual version as I've read they deal with icing up much better. I'm sure the auto version would be fine on groomed tracks, or if you don't have to remove and refit the ski often."
